About Haynesdental

We are a friendly, affordable family dental practice that can offer you the chance to get your dental care back on track at a reasonable cost. We have been based in West Dulwich since 1958 and are a trusted part of the local community - many of our patients have been coming here since we opened! We want you to be able to keep your own natural teeth for life. A first check up is 45 minutes long and costs £59. For this we will cover all of your medical history, go over what care you would like for your teeth, take x-rays and provide you with a treatment plan. Thereafter the check up fee is only £25.45. Please click on our services page to see the many services we provide and see our fees page for further information on our costs.

Testimonials
  • 'I approached my visit to the hygienist with some concern, knowing that I had a few dental health problems. However, it turned into a good experience. Thorough and effective work was carried out on my teeth and I was given some good advice for improving their condition in the future. Whilst undergoing painless treatment, gentle classical music was playing in the background. Dare I say it - I almost enjoyed it!'

  • 'I have had the pleasure of Dr Luke Lucas and Dr Peter Haynes working in my practice as our dedicated implant team for the last two and a half years. They are professional, experienced and well appreciated by me and all my patients.'
Dr Arfan Rashid - Mar 2009,
  • 'Hi Peter, As per my story today - the implant was strong enough to take the full force of a head butt that a rather unpleasant chap gave me in the street in Brixton (after pushing me off my bike on a cycle path!). The force of the butt was enough to cut my lip as my teeth went through it but the implant was immovable. I also would like to think that it hurt my aggressor more than a normal tooth would have! Use this story as you wish but make sure it's clear I was the innocent victim of an unprovoked attack!

  • 'Emily - your root canal job was a true miracle! Many thanks'
    Eillie Richardson - 2012,
  • 'Fantastic! I used to have some problems diving with my old denture, I could not bite the regulator properly - and on a few occasions it nearly fell out! Now, not only do I not feel the new denture, but I can dive normally.

  • I have been coming here for 22 years. I lost my fear of dentists through the kindness of the various dentists I have seen over the years. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
